THE STUFF YOU NEVER LEARNED IN HEALTH CLASSReasons to book a consult with me:
-
Will the leaking ever stop? What is considered common versus what is considered normal? What’s NOT normal? How do you know if you’re peeing too much or too little? How does that effect your performance on the bike or on the trail? We’re gonna figure it out so you can stop letting it get in your way.

Bowel issues are HARD to talk about. Let’s soften things up… ;) Nothing is TMI for me. That one time you “sharted” on the way to the trailhead and had to turn around because you didn’t have a change of clothes? Or the nervous poops before a ride or big hike… Maybe you’ve been told you have IBS? What the heck even is a Bristol stool chart and how many times should you be pooping every day, or every week? Why are you so constipated and what can you do about it? Why are squatty potty’s even a thing? We’ll talk about and answer it all, so you’ll never be late for or skip an adventure because of poop stuff again.

For the mom curious, mom’s to be, and current mom’s, no matter what stage of pregnancy or postpartum you’re at, learning about your pelvic floor & pelvic health is SO important. And YES i’ts important even if you “don’t have pelvic floor issues right now.” When working with me, you’ll learn that the pelvic floor is just ONE part of a larger system including your core, breathing muscles, and back. Preparing or “pre-habing” your body before birth is just as important as rehabbing postpartum.
As a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and pelvic floor OT, I can help you modify your current exercise/activity pre-birth and through pregnancy & help you return to your happy place on the trail postpartum. You don’t have to do it alone, or “just figure it out” yourself.

No, it’s not normal to have persistent pain from the bike and NO it’s not normal to have pain with intimacy. But YES it’s common and YES pelvic floor therapy can help. Pain is complex and our healthcare system loves to brush it off. I WON’T brush off your pain. Pain on the bike can lead to pain in the bedroom and vice versa. As an avid mountain & gravel biker for almost a decade I know saddle pain well and I’ve helped many female cyclists achieve more comfort on the bike which of course means more fun on the trail.
