“ca·dence (noun) a rhythm, or a flow, in a sequence that is regular or steady”

Desirae, the owner of Cadence Pelvic Health and Wellness, sits outdoors on the ground holding a model of a pelvis, with a bicycle leaning against a tree behind her, in a natural forest setting.

Pelvic health therapy wherever you are.

I help active people who want to understand, connect with, and love their body and pelvic floor — in home, on trail, or virtually.

Let’s find your cadence.

Your cadence is your rhythm, your flow. It’s how you move through life, sport, hardships, and healing. Pelvic floor dysfunction doesn’t have to disrupt that rhythm.

If you are:

  • experiencing pelvic pain

  • leaking when you jump, exercise, bike, run, lift, laugh, or sneeze

  • struggling with constipation or bowel issues

  • postpartum and wanting to return to your favorite activities

  • simply wanting to better understand and connect with your body

You deserve individualized and holistic pelvic health therapy that’s as unique as you are.

Together, we’ll restore your rhythm - your cadence - so you can move forward with strength, confidence, and ease.

Common reasons to see me:

  • Leaking while running, biking, climbing, sneezing, or laughing? Peeing “just in case” before every adventure or errand? You’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to be your normal. Things like urgency, frequency, incontinence, or pain with peeing are totally treatable and great reasons for us to team up and get you back to doing what you love, leak-free.

  • Always been the constipated one? Feel like you have to use a whole roll of TP to wipe? Are you someone who “never trusts a fart” on a run or leaks stool leading to embarrassment and isolation? Whether it’s constipation, IBS, incomplete emptying, or feeling like your gut has a mind of its own - if your bowels are messing with your adventures or daily life, I’m here to help you get back to feeling good in your body and on the trail.

  • Pain with intimacy, your period, postpartum healing, or that “falling out” feeling can make even everyday movement uncomfortable—let alone hitting the trail or getting back on your bike. Maybe it’s tailbone pain or ischial tuberosity pain from long days in the saddle, lingering scar tissue from a C-section or tear, or pain while sitting at work. By getting to the root of your pain and learning how to manage pressure, build strength, and restore mobility, I’ll help you get back to moving freely and doing what you love—in the bedroom, outdoors and beyond.

  • Are you newly pregnant, want to be pregnant, or pregnancy curious? Pre-habbing your pelvic floor for pregnancy is like training for your favorite sport. It’s important to build strength, coordination, nervous system regulation, and resilience before the real challenge begins. Pre-hab works to:

    • Improve core stability and support your growing belly

    • Help prevent leaking, pelvic pressure, or pain

    • Make it easier to push effectively during labor

    • Reduce the risk of injury to the pelvic floor during delivery

When you understand how your body works before it’s under stress, you’re better prepared for the journey ahead.

What to expect during your first appointment:

Investing in your health is important, but I get it - it’s time consuming and expensive. And if you're like me, you're saving for your next bike, ski, or gear upgrade.

Best way to make sure your investment will be worth it? Demo before you buy. Your first “visit” with me will be a free 15–30 minute discovery call—a no-pressure phone or video chat to ask questions, share your goals, learn about services and pricing, and see if we’re a good fit. No treatment happens during this call, just a supportive, no strings attached, conversation.

Decide we’re a good fit? Woo! Next, we’ll book your 90-minute evaluation: about 45 minutes of conversation and reviewing your intake, followed by 45 minutes of education and hands-on assessment based on your needs.
